Fun diving in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka with Divers Land
We can offer a fantastic range of fun dives for certified divers. Our diving center is well equipped with modern, high quality dive gear and staffed by well-trained professionals. We offer daily dive trips to some of the most beautiful sites Trincomalee has to offer.
The dives take place in small groups. Before every dive you will give a detailed briefing on the site and what you can expect to see, and then it’s off on the boat. Once we are at the site our highly experienced dive guides will show you the most interesting spots and animals on the reefs and wrecks, and always ensure safe dives.
There are 16 or more superb dive sites all just a few minutes boat ride from the dive center. Reefs, wrecks and pinnacles – all different, and all fantastic.
Two of our dive favourite sites are:
Small Grouper Rock is a rocky terrain at 15m, fully covered with beautiful and colourful hard and soft coral. Expect to see Pixy Hawkerfish, crabs and many many other fish. The abundance of colour and reef life has been likened to Great Barrier Reef.
The Bus Station is exactly that – a collection of the shells of old buses sunk at 20m by the Sri Lankan Navy, that are now becoming artifical reefs. You will find morays, stingrays and many more fish besides – and you can safely swim inside the buses (one of them even still has a steering wheel so you can be an underwater bus driver!).
